Launched in 1971 as a newspaper, Philadelphia Weekly covers everything from local news to alternative/urban topics like city life, culture, and even taboo, adult-oriented subjects.
Voted the best overall non-Daily newspaper in 2014 by Pennsylvania’s Society of Professional Journalists, the paper is dedicated to maintaining a sex-positive and lgbt-friendly outlook while covering topics both regional and abroad.
